Words of wisdom He who dwells in the secret place of the most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty God.
A priest was being honoured at his retirement dinner after 25 years in the Parish. A leading local politician and member of the congregation was chosen to make the presentation and give a little speech at the dinner.

He was delayed, so the priest decided to say his own few words while they waited.

"I got my first impression of the parish from the first confession I heard here. I thought I had been assigned to a terrible place. The very first person to enter my confessional told me he had stolen a television set and when questioned by the police, was able to lie his way out of it. He had stolen money from his parents, embezzled from his employer, had an affair with his boss' wife, taken illegal drugs and he had given VD to his sister.

I was appalled. But as the days went on I knew that my people were not all like that and I had, indeed, come to a fine parish full of good and loving people."

Just as the priest finished his talk, the politician arrived full of
apologies at being late. He immediately began to make the presentation and gave his talk. "I'll never forget the first day our parish priest arrived," said the politician. "In fact, I had the honour of being the first one to go to him in confession....."

Everybody burst into laughter

*Moral of the story: DON'T BE LATE for meetings.*

Police boss Malama dating spokesperson Kanjela
December 15, 2011 | Filed under: Zambia | Posted by: editor  - Zambianwatchdog

Inspector-General of police Martin Malama is said to be involved in a sexual relationship with police spokesperson Elizabeth Kanjela.
Police sources say the relationship is so serious that she is considered a second wife by those in the know.
Malama is married and has children with his wife.
Elizabeth Kanjela is single but has a child.
People close to Kanjela suspect that her child was sired by Malama.
When phoned to say something, Elizabeth Kanjela could neither deny nor confirm the assertions.
She, instead, laughed out loudly for close to a minute.
Then she said: 'you guys are mad'.
Asked why she laughed and what she meant by saying you guys are mad, Kanjela said 'because you find that to be news'.
When pressed further to say whether it is true that she has been doing her boss and that her appointment as spokesperson is due to her 'services' she said she will only respond if the questions are emailed to her.
She gave the Watchdog her email but she never responded  to the email that was sent to her.
http://www.zambianwatchdog.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/malama.jpg
Side by side, Malama and Kanjela
A follow up phone call was unsuccessful.
But sources in the police insisted that Kanjela and the police chief Malama have been dating for a long time now.
According to police sources, Malama started bonking the younger beauty just when she joined the police after her Masscom studies at UNZA.
And, police sources say, the two have been very close ever since and Malama has been helping Kanjela through the ranks.
One police officer explained that when the Zambia police formed the Child Protection Unit, Malama who was instrumental in its set up, made sure Kanjela headed it.
When Malama moved to the Copperbelt as commanding officer, he saw to it that Kanjela moved to a new police unit called Diplomatic Security Services which is aimed at providing security to the diplomats accredited to Zambia.
But the moment Malama was appointed Inspector-General; his first change in the Service was to replace Ndandula Siamama with Elizabeth Kanjela as spokesperson.

Thanks Victor for this update, I suggest  those in touch with him should advise him to appeal leave to do so expires.
